In losing myself,

It's kinda amazing
(for me)
that it took me a year of accounting stress
before I could really cry out.
And all because I got locked out of the house in the rain. Something as simple as that. Whatever happened today, whatever I did, I don’t want it to happen anymore.
No more sitting down and crying in the street. No more sharing with strangers. (Well, maybe a little bit.) And definitely no more leaving...

That awkward moment when
somebody who thinks she’s better than you tells you a ‘Did you know’ piece of trivia to make you look bad, and she’s wrong. And you can’t correct her because she stated it very matter-of-factly in front of the whole crowd because you don’t want to embarrass her because you’re a nice person. Very awkward indeed.
